Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
